Hi, I’m Jacob.

I run Cutting Hedge as an owner-operator, which simply means I’m personally involved in the work and take pride in every garden we look after.

My approach is straightforward — I listen carefully and focus on what each client actually needs. Whether it’s regular maintenance or a one-off tidy-up, I work alongside a small team to make sure the job is done properly and respectfully.

While we handle all aspects of garden maintenance, I have a particular interest in shaping hedges and pruning shrubs. There’s something satisfying about bringing structure and neatness back to a space — a well-maintained hedge can quietly lift the whole look of a garden.

We work with many retirees across Canberra who appreciate a reliable helping hand around the garden, as well as busy families who simply don’t have the time to keep on top of everything. Our goal is to make garden care easy and stress-free.
